Think London wanted to spread their message, a road trip across the United States, Europe and China proved the perfect solution

We love the ideas you had… we need to discuss them further, as we just purchased a London Taxi!Having recently completed their Business Intelligence Dashboard, Think London wanted to brainstorm new marketing initiatives. As an iconic symbol or London I suggested creating an interactive Black Cab as a mobile exhibition that would circle the globe, it would attract media attention, plus as it was a vehicle itself, it could have numerous functions and would be easy to transport. Two weeks later I was sitting in the backseat of their taxi taking copious photos, sketches and measurements as the next time I would see this particular Taxi it would literally, be in bits!
The first leg of the tour was from New York to San Francisco, the Taxi garnered masses of media attention, and even caught the attention of Wired Magazine, who published a technology write up. The Taxi then toured across Europe. As it was proving so successful, we created a Chinese version in Beijing for the Olympics. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, took the taxi on its inaugural drive before it embarked on its China tour.
